Negative effects of social media

This past weekend over 900 youths mainly African Americans gathered on the streets of the Downtown Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri. Some of these teens were causing criminal acts as well as others just walking in groups. Police described this action by several young kids as a flash mob which is a large gathering of people. Many of the youths running wild used different SOCIAL MEDIA outlets to organize the gathering at the Plaza on Saturday evening. Different social media sites can be extremely informative and helpful but some sites can also create problems. Social media can also be a tool or evidence in finding information about a criminal case.

Does your life really Suck?

Has anyone ever had a bad day or even think that your life can't get any worse? At times I think that about my life, in fact last week I was having car trouble and overwhelmed with work and school. I thought to myself, my life can't get any worse. I also had a black eye from playing basketball at a recreation center.

However last week I saw a movie that struck me in an emotional way. I saw the movie ">Precious and it made me look at my life from a different aspect. This film has clearly had an impact on my view on life. My advice is for everyone to see this movie and see what kind of impact it can have on your views on life.
